It is situated on the southeast of Venezuela and Guyana, Barbados on northeast and south of Grenada. Both the Trinidad and Tobago islands together form about 5128 sq.km area of land. Along with these two islands there are around 21 islands in this nation. Port of Spain is the capital of Trinidad and Tobago islands. It is the headquarters of “Free Trade Area of the Americas”.</p><p> The island terrain comprises of plains and mountains. Overall climate on the islands is tropical which is divided into two seasons. The first half of the year holds dry season while the second half holds wet season.</p><p> Trinidad is the place where most of the population lives. Hence Trinidad comprises of majority of important cities and towns. The nation is the origin of the steelpan and calypso music. The island nation is famous for the carnival festival where people gather, dance and celebrate together. Trinidad and Tobago is rich in artistic fields. A variety of religions are present in this nation namely Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Hindus, Muslims and Seventh - day Adventist. </p><p> Petroleum industry dominates the economy of island nation. Agricultural fields are rich in production of sugar cane, cocoa, citrus and other products. Tourism is increasing in this nation. The government of Trinidad is trying for further development in petrochemicals, metals and hydrocarbon sectors. Exports play a small but significant role in economical growth. </p><p>
