</p><p>Republic of Estonia is a state in northern Europe. Russia is located to east & Latvia to south. Estonia is separated from Finland in the north by the Gulf of Finland & from Sweden in the west by Baltic Sea. Its official language is Estonian. Capital city is Tallinn. Population accounts for 13.42 lacs over area of 45226sq. kms. It has a parliamentary democracy with three branches of power legislative, executive & judicial. It is divided into 15 counties.</p><p> Residents without Estonian citizenship have no right to vote in parliamentary elections. Due to mix cross section of people like some believe in god, others presume existence of some sort of spirit or life force & balance as neutral, Estonians treated as non-religious people.</p><p> Estonia’s economy is rated as high income by World Bank. In 1994 Estonia introduced flat tax system i.e. uniform rate of 26% & they intend to reduce it still further. Since January 2000, companies are exempted to pay income tax on re-invested income.</p><p> The Estonia’s economy is growing rapidly, partly due to a number of Scandinavian companies relocating their operations in Estonia & revenue generation at Estonian ports from Russian oil trades. Income is generated from export of machinery, wood, paper, food, metals, chemicals & electricity.</p><p>
