</p><p>Bosnia and Herzegovina is located on the Balkan peninsula of southern Europe. Prior to the 1992-1995 war 4.3 million people were living in Bosnia. Bosnia and Herzegovina is home to Serbs Bosniaks and Croats .A person from Bosnia and Herzegovina is always referred to as a Bosnian. Bosnia and Herzegovina share its borders with Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro. The country has a mountainous and hilly terrain. The city of Sarajevo which happens to be the largest city is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The moderate climate consists of cold snowy winters and hot summers. </p><p> The culture of Bosnia is rich in tradition which includes poets and writers. In 1923 the Sarajevo philharmonic orchestra came into existence. The Sarajevo Balet and Sarajevo opera started in 1946,and has hosted over 1000 and 300 ballets and operas. The Performing Arts academy in Sarajevo came into being in 1981. A long list of famous musicians, composers and film makers come from Bosnia and Herzegovina.</p><p> The brunt of being in a war torn country is clearly evident in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is on a path of rebuilding its economy. Agriculture happens to be a contributor towards the economy of the country.</p><p>
