</p><p>Andorra is a small country in Europe which is located on the border of France and Spain. Andorra is currently one of the upcoming countries mainly due to its tourism. Andorra was under the joint suzerainty of the Spanish bishops and the French state since 1278. Before that in the 11th century there was a clash between the northern neighbors of Andorra and the bishops. This argument was solved by signing a joint sovereignty in the year 1278. Andorra is mainly divided into 7 regions and they are Canillo, Ordino, Andorra La Vella, Encamp, La Massana, Escaldes-Engordany and Sant Julia de Loria.</p><p> Andorra’s official language is Catalian but people also speak French, Portuguese and Castilian. Majority of the people in Andorra are Spanish where as 33 percent are origins and 11 percent are Portuguese with 7 percent being French. The main religion in Andorra is Christianity as Roman Catholics are predominant in the county. Prevesouly the main occupation of the Andorran people was woodcutting, farming and smuggling but recently this country is famous for its tourism industry and also particularly for skiing. The main natural resources founding the country are iron ore, timber, lead, mineral water and hydro power. The country also has several industries besides tourism and they are cattle raising, banking and timber business.</p><p>
